Student Paper Contest

For the third consecutive year at the Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, a student paper contest will take place. The objective of this contest is to give students due recognition and encouragement by both the Symposium and CAS Society. A student paper is defined as a paper whose prime author is a student who has performed the majority of the work. All papers which were submitted and designated for the student paper contest went through the normal review process. Seven finalist papers were selected from the accepted ones. These papers will be presented in a special session on Monday, August 9th in the morning. The papers will be judged based on both content and presentation. The prizes are:

1st Place: $X
2nd Place: $Y
3rd Place: $Z

The prizes will be awarded at the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, August 10th.

If you want your paper to be considered for the student paper contest, send an email message to djuro@edison.nmhu.edu indicating your paper ID before June 25, 1999.
